Welcome to the Wellington Queer Bowling Association.
We have been operating since 2002 to assist bowlers with international and national
tournaments ­and socials, including the Gay Games in Sydney 2002.

WQBA is now assisting with the set up of local leagues and social competitions
in Wellington at both the Porirua and Petone Bowling Centres to cater for the gay
and lesbian community.

WQBA also helps bowlers achieve funding and run fundraisers to help them represent Wellington and New Zealand in this great sport.

The annual adult membership of NZD $40 is valid until 31st January of the following year.

Membership gives you all of this:

Membership of the Wellington Competitive Bowlers Association (WCBA)
Membership of a Rainbow League
Newsletters
Bowling Shirts
Invitations to International Gay Bowling Organisation tournaments and socials
Free signup to the Members Only Area.

The WQBA will accept applications from adults interested in joining a gay & lesbian
social bowling league in Wellington, NZ.

Social members are able to join for a fee of $10. This is for family and friends who do
not wish to join a bowling league but wish to be a part of this amazing organization.
Your social membership will entitle you to invitations to socials and be a part of the WQBA.
